Scope and duration
For consumer purchases of new goods governed by Italian law, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within 24 months of delivery. The legal guarantee is free of charge and cannot be excluded by commercial terms.
This protection covers, for example, goods that do not match the contractual description or lack the required characteristics and functionality. It is distinct from the right to withdraw following a change of mind. Product-specific rules and any more favourable mandatory protections in other countries remain unaffected.
Repair, replacement and other remedies
Consumers may first request repair or replacement free of charge, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would impose disproportionate costs compared with the alternative. The goods must be brought into conformity within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, taking account of their nature and intended use.
In the circumstances provided by law, for example if the goods are not brought into conformity properly, the defect persists or is sufficiently serious, a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract is available. A minor defect does not give rise to a right to terminate the contract. The available remedies depend on the specific circumstances and cannot be restricted by this page.
How to request support
Check the seller named in your order. If it is Ebizlab S.r.l., email assistenza@ebizlab.it, providing the purchase channel, order details, product and a description of the issue. Relevant photographs or videos may help assess the issue, where available.
Keep proof of purchase. Supporting documents are not necessarily limited to a receipt: they may include the order confirmation or other suitable documentation. Before sending the product back, agree the arrangements and returns address with customer service, without incurring costs that the seller must bear under the legal guarantee.
Commercial guarantees and business purchases
Any additional guarantee offered by the manufacturer or seller supplements the legal guarantee and does not replace it. It is governed by the relevant guarantee statement.
Purchases made for business or professional purposes are subject to rules distinct from the B2C protections summarised here. For further information, please consult the terms for your purchase or the Customer service and complaints page.
