Hosting and email
eBizLab uses Seeweb S.r.l. for website hosting and email services. Seeweb’s VAT number is 02043220603 and its address is Via Armando Vona 66, 03100 Frosinone, Italy. Seeweb provides the technology services; Ebizlab S.r.l. remains the controller for the processing described in this notice.
Browsing involves sending the server technical information needed to provide the requested pages, such as the IP address and resource path. Log settings, retention periods and the terms applicable to email and hosting must be specified based on the services actually in use and the contractual documentation.
Browsing and preparing messages
The website uses local fonts and graphics and does not integrate analytics, advertising or profiling services. Its code does not set HTTP cookies or save form fields in persistent browser storage.
After the cookie notice is dismissed using “Got it”, technical local storage (localStorage) records only the notice version and an expiry date, valid for six calendar months. This value is not transmitted by the website to servers or third parties and is deleted on the first visit after expiry. For details, please see Cookies and technologies.
The forms collect a name, an optional company name or order number, and the enquiry text within the browser. The “Prepare email” button opens the user’s chosen email application: the website does not send the message to eBizLab. The message is sent only if the user confirms sending it in their email application. Where available, the copy command transfers the text to the device’s clipboard.
Purposes and legal bases for communications
- Enquiries from customers and prospective customers: answering questions, taking steps at the data subject’s request before entering into a contract, and managing the contractual relationship; Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where its conditions are met.
- Relationships with businesses, suppliers and their representatives: managing correspondence and professional relationships on the basis of the company’s legitimate interests, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, following an assessment balancing those interests against the data subject’s rights.
- Legal obligations: complying with administrative, accounting or other applicable legal obligations; Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Providing data to make an enquiry is optional. Without the necessary information and usable contact details, it may not be possible to reply or handle the request. Please avoid sending sensitive data or unnecessary documents.
Your rights as a data subject
Where applicable and subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. They may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
Requests may be sent to the controller using the contact details provided. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the competent supervisory authority.
